The 35 feet sailing yacht carries up to 12 guests on day trips and
features two spacious double cabins (4 guests) for overnight trips.
Apia Yacht Marina construction work is now underway in Apia
Harbour. The multimillion dollar "Marina" development set to be
completed by August 2007
The Samoa sailing season begins in April and ends around
December when many yachts insurance will not cover unpredictable
weather and tropical cyclones which occasionally threaten. Friendly
natives, good sailing conditions and a fantastic climate draw racing
boats and cruising yachts from around the world.
Apia
harbour is the perfect setting for mariners with lovely views of the
surrounding mountains and easy access to Apia town. Before the
marina, the harbour offered little protection in strong winds. Apia
sits overlooking the harbour and offers yachting facilities as well
as numerous restaurants and bars.
Apia’s
relaxed South Pacific settlement atmosphere, and its cafes and bars
are a magnet for yachties. The new Apia Yacht Marina will mean
contemporary safety and added vessels can be accommodated
comfortably.
Beautiful mountain backdrops alone are not enough to
attract many vessels to other Samoan harbours at
Fagaloa Bay on Upolu and Asau Bay on the north shore of Savai'i.
The catamaran SHILO II sails around the islands, Upolu,
Savaii and several smaller islands. Yacht charter –
Sailing, fishing, and day trips can be booked.
Sunset & Sunrise Cruise

provided. As a deluxe cruise, a live band will be accompanied,
gourmet platter and champagne provided and optional stops at the
